Do I have Leukemia or Lymphoma?

Do I have Leukemia or Lymphoma?

I recently noticed a bunch of petechaie down by both ankles and by my toes and feet. this is the only play i have them, and they are quite small, smaller than the other pictures of petechaie. you need to look quite closely to see them, like your face must be 6 inches away and they ahvent been changing color, dissapearing, or spreading for 2 weeks. i had a blood test 1 week ago and everything was fine. they tested for a low white blood cell count. it came back as about 7500 which is normal. eveything else as far as i know was normal. im 14, and im afraid i might have one of these diseases (my friend has leakemia and he endured terrible suffereing before the cancer went into remision). please give me your opinion because i am told normal healthy people shouldnt have petechaie.

Do I have Leukemia or Lymphoma?
if you've taken the tests and they came back normal you don't have cancer.

A low platelet count (thrombocytopenia) is a common cause of petechiae. Platelets play an important role in blood clotting. Causes of a low platelet count include:

*Autoimmune disorders, such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis

*Viral infections, such as mononucleosis and measles (rubella)

*Side effect of certain medications, such as chemotherapy drugs

*Bone marrow disorders, such as leukemia

Treatment of petechiae depends on the underlying cause. If you develop a petechial rash, see your doctor promptly.

you've seen your doc what does s/he say???
Reply:I don't think you have leukemia or lymphoma. Don't worry. They don't sound like petechiae at all. Especially that your CBC (including the platelet count) is normal. You better see a dermatologist (or a family doctor) to find out what it is.
Reply:my opinion is you do not have cancer. End of story.
