Question about Hodgkin's Lymphoma?

My sister, who is 26, recently was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has a 2 inch mass in her chest, nodules in her armpits and in her neck as well. I am very scared. She has a 7 year old son, and a 2 year old daughter. Can someone please tell me how extensive this sounds? Does this sound as if it is in an advanced stage? She will not get any definite answers until she visits an Oncologist next week. I just know that she has it in several areas and I am very worried. Please respond if you have an experince with this horrible disease. Thanks!!

Question about Hodgkin's Lymphoma?
This sounds like stage II, but this, and the fact that it is really Hodgkins, must be confirmed with biopsy. But I do think she has excellent chances because in the case of lymphoma, the most agressive forms are the most curable (this is weird, but true). Hodgkin's especially has a very high cure rate, especially at this age, and at low stage.

Personnaly I have a friend who went throught this in his early twenties and is now perfectly ok ten years later.

She will get better, dont worry.

You can check out staging info for this here:

Reply:this disease isalmost 100% curable so try not to worry
Reply:The best part is that is sounds like all the activity is above the diapragm. That's good. Her doctor will runs tests to see what stage it's in, and what is the best treatment.

Here is the best website for info:
